Our Company
Timmerman Radon Testing LLC, uses some of the most accurate and dependable continuous radon monitors on the market. These machines allow us to get very accurate results in as little as 48 hours. These continuous radon monitors (CR or CRM) measures and records radon levels hourly.
Quality Control:
What makes us different than a typical home test kit is our dedication and compliance with the Iowa Department of Public Health on quality assurance and quality control. Part of this quality control effort includes assuring our radon monitors are accurate. This is done by yearly calibrations from the manufacturer as well as the fact that every 10th test is duplicated with another machine to ensure that results from each CRM are within the acceptable range of precision and accuracy. In addition, these CRMs are especially valuable during a real estate transaction as our equipment is able to measure and record results at least hourly. While other testing methods require multiple tests during a home sale, our equipment only requires one. One thing important to me in business is to offer my customers a good value. This means fair pricing, good service, no conflicts of interest, and never try to charge you more through unnecessary up-sells. At the end of the day I want you to be a happy healthy customer. That is the way I do business.
No conflict of interest: I operate a radon testing company only. I do not mitigate radon or receive any incentive or compensation from radon mitigation companies. This ensures that the test results and recommendations are completely without bias. I am hired and working only for you.
After moving from the land of my ancestors my family settled down in the Cedar Rapids area. I grew up in Lisbon, Iowa with a lot of great friends. Many of whom moved on to do great things in their life. Meanwhile, I became a Radon Tester.
Besides the pleasure and satisfaction I get out of testing for radon, I also enjoy hiking, biking and traveling with my family. I just love going to a new city or countryside and exploring. I think this is so important to the human soul and many of my fondest memories have been discovering new places with the fam. I am also interested in God, healthy eating, nutritional supplements, making the world a better place, coffee, documentaries and a bunch of other stuff. Call me and I'll talk your ear off! : )
